Michael Wesch's Web 2.0 Video

Thanks to Lawrence Lessig and BoingBoing,1 I was alerted to this remarkable video, “Web 2.0 … The Machine is Us/ing Us,” created by Michael Wesch, an assistant professor of cultural anthropology at Kansas State University:

As the video suggests, Wesch has a particular interest in how ethnography — the description of a culture based on observation of and interaction with living people2 — can be presented using digital media. To this end, he has formed a Digital Ethnography working group of faculty and students at Kansas State. They invite comments on the “Web 2.0 … The Machine is Us/ing Us” video at their website.
